How Do I Reset My B-Hyve Wi-Fi Hub?
If you need to reset your B-hyve Wi-Fi hub, there are a few different ways to do it. The first way is to simply unplug the power cord from the back of the unit and then plug it back in. This will cause the unit to reboot and should reset any Wi-Fi settings that may be causing problems.
Another way to reset your B-hyve is by pressing and holding the reset button on the back of the unit for about 10 seconds. This will also cause the unit to reboot, but will also factory reset all settings on the device. This means that you will need to reconfigure any custom settings that you have previously set up, such as Wi-Fi passwords or port forwarding rules.
If neither of these methods work, you can also try logging into the web interface for your B-hyve and going into the “Maintenance” section. From here, you should see an option to “Reboot Device.” This will again cause a full reboot of your B-hyve and shouldreset any problematic settings.
How Do I Connect Orbit B-Hyve to My Phone?
Assuming you would like a step-by-step guide on connecting your Orbit B-hyve to your phone:
1. Purchase the Orbit B-hyve indoor timer at your local store or online (link below).
2. Download the free app for iOS or Android.
3. Create an account within the app and login. 4. Tap “Add Timer” in the bottom right corner of the app home screen and select “B-hyve WiFi Timer” from the list of supported products. If you have more than one B-hyve timer, tap the + sign in the top right corner to add additional timers.
5a. To connect your B-hyve to WiFi using Bluetooth, open the back cover of your timer and press and hold down both the “A” button (upper left) and “B” button (lower left) until you hear a beep followed by two sets of flashes on LEDs 1 & 2 that alternate between fast and slow blinks (~15 seconds). The unit will now enter WiFi setup mode indicated by all 4 LEDs flashing rapidly (~20 times/minute).
The default name (SSID) of your unit will be “BhvXXXXXX” where XXXXXX is specific to your individual unit – please write this down for use later in this process! You can then go back into the app, select your timer, and choose your home WiFi network from the list of available networks – no password required! After choosing your network, wait ~30 seconds while it connects and shows as “Online” in green next to Network Status within device settings in the app before proceeding with step 6 below… OR 5b.
To connect without using Bluetooth, open up any web browser on any laptop or desktop computer connected to YOUR HOME WIFI NETWORK ONLY* and type 19216811 into address bar at top – this should bring up a page titled Welcome to B‑hyve Smart Indoor Timer! If not, check that you are only connected to YOUR HOME WIFI NETWORK before proceeding further…Click on Wireless Setup Wizard which is located directly beneath where it says Firmware Version xxxxxxx – if prompted with a warning about changing router settings click OK since we just want to temporarily change ONE setting back after completing these steps anyway.
B-Hyve Not Connecting to Wifi
